Dr. C. Paul Willis
Dr. C. Paul Willis, Jr. is the senior pastor of the Cathedral of HIS Glory in Greensboro, North Carolina. This dynamic church began through Dr. Willis’ ministry in a motion picture theater and now meets on its 26-acre grounds in the 2,000 seat Cathedral auditorium. Dr. Willis is assisted by a staff of ministers and elders. He is an ordained minister of the Southern Baptist Convention with over forty years of experience as a pastor, teacher and evangelist. Dr. Willis uses his training in pastoral counseling and his rich experience in the field to make his Bible teaching reach the emotional and spiritual needs of the congregation.
In 1990, Ministries of HIS Glory was founded in Guatemala under Dr. Willis’ direction. This ministry now has churches established throughout Guatemala, El Salvador and Colombia. The headquarters of Ministries of HIS Glory was moved to Nicaragua in 1998 under then-President Rev. Ronald Coffer, Sr. In 2008, the seat of Ministries of HIS Glory was moved back to Guatemala where it currently operates under the direction of Ron Coffer, Jr. and his wife Mimy. The Cathedral of HIS Glory in Greensboro also supports other various short-term mission outreaches around the world.
Dr. Willis is a graduate of the Tennessee Technical University, Campbell University, and received his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Other graduate studies include the School of Pastoral Care of the Bowman-Gray School of Medicine and the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Oral Roberts University. He has published books and booklets ranging in content from deep theological treatises and Biblical historical fiction to simple yet profound Biblical concepts.
